MONAGHAN GOES UNNOTICED IN NEW YORK
-Posted by: Quivi
MICHELLE MONAGHAN loves living in New York - because she never gets recognised on public transport. The actress is rarely spotted by movie fans so she often takes advantage by roaming the streets and travelling on the subway without hassle.
She says, "I'd die without that subway. Honest to God. I always think that I don't really look like I do in my movies.
"I think you probably might not recognise me if you saw me walking down the street. Or maybe they do in New York and people just don't say anything, which is awesome. But yeah, I haven't run into that problem."

AN 'EYE’ FOR AN EYE
-Posted by: Quivi
Nobody can say we weren't warned.
From the first appearance of clunky, papier-maché computers in film and TV, the message has remained the same: Eventually, the technology we've invented will try to kill us all. "Going back and looking at those movies, you realize there's a lot of cautionary tales out there," he says. "But one of the things that's different now is that we're all sort of techno-geeks now." Who among us, he points out, does not have at least one digital addiction?
In Caruso's film, out Friday, the protagonist/geek is Jerry (Shia LaBeouf), a slacker twentysomething who finds himself under attack by every computer, digital display and cellphone around him. He discovers he's being forced to carry out an assassination plot, along with another victim (Michelle Monaghan) - but neither can figure out how one person could seize control of every bit of technology in the country. ...
